Euripides' quotes

Euripides was a playwright from Ancient Greece. He is considered as one of the three great tragedy playwrights of Classical Athens, along with Aeschylus and Sophocles. Many of his plays depict personal and social issues. He is known to have shown strong women characters and intelligent slaves in his works.

Here are his quotes:

1. "The bold are helpless without cleverness."

2. "Events will take their course, it is no good of being angry at them; he is happiest who wisely turns them to the best account. "

3. "Much effort, much prosperity."

4. "Leave no stone unturned."

5. "Fortune truly helps those who are of good judgment."
